"I Need You" is the first official single off of Cavell's forthcoming E.P Last Summer. Cavell takes the role of an apologetic lover who finds that this might be his last shot at true love. Cavell produced the song with intent to change the emotion felt within the musical structure. This dark plea was written by Cavell late 2011 and bought to life earlier this year. Keep an eye out for the E.P Last Summer due to drop soon.

I wanted to show that there is nothing special about me, Im not a star or a famous guy that you can't touch. I just set my mind on doing this music thing and now I'm doing it. You can do it too! I also don't want to put my dad in the bad light but this was just how I felt way back then. everything has changed for the better now so everythings good.

At the same time I wanted the people I grew up with as well as my family to have a proud sort of feeling every time they hear this song, so I hope I achieve that.

The idea of this track was just to give people a bit of info on who I am and how I think, its all real talk so the title pretty much says it all "Walk With Me" It also fits the theme of the album hence the album title.

The original idea of this track came from a group of gang prospects I came across one night, I thought to myself they don't give a f*&k about anyone or anything in there way, they just do what they need to do to get a patch... well I ain't in to all that gang shit but I thought to myself no matter who you are or what your doing in life everybody has that same mindstate, if you want something that bad you do what you need to do to get it.

One of the most honest songs I’ve written so far. When I got the email asking if i was interested in jumping on a track produced by Twice as nice I jumped at the opportunity. The song’s a reinterpretation of Adele’s cover of the Cure classic. I never listened to Adele’s version until after I wrote and recorded the song back in July last year. The simplicity of the chorus I wanted to keep. Contrast between the simple chorus and complicated verses were key to carrying out the point and message within this song. No matter what “I will always love you”. The creative process was amazing. Somehow I was constantly coming up with different harmonies and melodies throughout the recording session which eventually built the song up to what it is now. The song pretty much wrote it self which makes it even more special for me. Those moments are short and rare but genius at the same time.
